The Beloved Community

Lincoln Temple United Church Of Christ is responding to God’s call to form the church and transform society into the Beloved Community. The Beloved Community affirms the humanity of all persons, cultures, and religions.The integrity of the Beloved Community is based on the Spirit of Wholeness that unites gifts of diversity. Thus, we strive to build a church and society that is: anti-racist, multicultural, multiracial, open and affirming, accessible, just peace, green, and receptive to the still speaking God. “That they all may be one” (John 17:21).
